1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ConjureDSP ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. Description of Service
ConjureDSP is a macOS AUv3 audio plugin that allows users to write real-time DSP code in Python or Rust. The Software is available as a free Demo and as a paid Licensed subscription.
3. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal or commercial audio production purposes.
- You may install the Software on any macOS devices you own or control.
- You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software itself.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
The Licensed tier is offered as an annual subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee on a recurring annual basis until you cancel. Subscription management and cancellation are available through your account settings.
5. Exported Plugins
Standalone AUv3 plugins exported with a Licensed subscription are permanently licensed. Your exported plugins continue to function even if your subscription ends. However, you need an active subscription to export new plugins.
6. User-Generated Code
You retain all rights to the DSP code you write and the presets you create using ConjureDSP. We claim no ownership over your code or creative output.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to circumvent license validation or subscription checks.
- Redistribute the Software or any component thereof.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConjureDSP and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
